Its not that I'm just not getting into the whole 'real reason for the season' part, with Christ and the nativity story, and such. I can't even get into the commercial side of it! I am getting sick of presents, Santa, Christmas carols, and even parties! Last night I went to one and was just miserable. Its just not that fun.
However, there is one thing that puts me in the Christmas spirit, even if just a little bit. It makes me feel all warm and fuzzy.
So here's a pic of my sweet little boy. :)

Does anyone remember what Herod did to all the children in Bethlehem under the age of two?

I don't know if I like the idea of dressing my son up so he can die.

Do you have a relative thats hard to shop for? Seems to have everything??? I know I do, about a dozen of them! I found something that I bet NOBODY you know has. Get ready for the coolness that this is! 
Its a tie! But of what? Groovy water splashes? Purple roses?

I picked my son up last night after work. He was sound asleep. I took him home and pulled him out of his carseat. His tiny little body felt soft and warm against my chest. He sighed, lost in slumber. His little mouth quivered as he dreamt. His little fingers grazed my shirt. His little feet curled into his body, cuddling up into me. I sat and rocked him for awhile, aware that this may be the only time I get alone with him.
Being a working mom is so hard. Just writing about that moment makes me cry.
